Where Academic Excellence Meets Personal Growth.
Welcome to Kompass School, where every student is encouraged to explore their passions in a supportive, innovative environment.
Our Pathways
Connecting Learning
At Kompass, our Middle School uses the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) to connect distinct subjects through “Big Ideas.” By linking topics across science, history, and the arts, we help students see the bigger picture. This method is designed specifically for the adolescent brain, ensuring education is not just memorized, but truly understood and relevant to their lives.
Individualized Attention
Middle School is a pivotal bridge between childhood and young adulthood. We cater specifically to the needs of 11-to-14-year-olds by focusing on personal growth alongside academics. Through the IMYC, we provide a supportive environment that builds emotional resilience and independence, helping students confidently navigate the unique challenges of adolescence.
Building Global Thinkers
Our program fosters more than just academic success; it builds global citizens. We challenge Middle Schoolers to think critically and creatively about real-world issues using the IMYC framework. By encouraging international-mindedness and adaptability, we prepare students to look at problems from multiple perspectives and thrive in an interconnected future.
Our Comprehensive Curriculum
A robust blend ensuring academic excellence and global perspective.
Trilingual Academic Excellence
At Kompass Middle School, academic rigor meets global fluency. We integrate the English National Curriculum, German State standards, and Egyptian requirements into an immersive trilingual program. Using the IMYC, students master complex subjects in English, German, and Arabic. With class sizes under 10, we provide the intensive, personalized instruction necessary to prepare every learner for the demands of the IB Diploma.
Deep Conceptual Learning
Our academic approach prioritizes deep understanding over rote memorization. Designed for the adolescent brain, our program uses the IMYC to link distinct disciplines—connecting Science, Humanities, and the Arts through challenging thematic units. This method ensures students grasp complex concepts and develop the intellectual autonomy required for high-level research and independent study.
Rigorous Inquiry & Research
We challenge students with a high-level, inquiry-based curriculum. Rather than learning in isolation, students explore interconnected academic themes that bridge the logic of Mathematics with the creativity of the Arts. With a heavy emphasis on research skills and digital literacy, our intimate learning environment ensures every student develops the sophisticated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities essential for future academic success.
We believe students succeed best when they clearly understand their academic destination.
Impact Beyond The Classroom
At Kompass, we believe education is about more than just personal success; it’s about making a difference. Our students are empowered to see themselves as active agents of change in their communities.
Community Leadership: Students lead local initiatives, from environmental sustainability projects to supporting local charities, understanding their power to effect change.
Global Connection: With a trilingual foundation, our students bridge cultural gaps, fostering radical empathy and understanding in an interconnected world.
Innovative Problem Solving: By tackling real-world challenges in their projects, students develop the agency to design creative solutions for a better future.
