A small trilingual school where every child is truly known

At Kompass Maadi, we cultivate thinkers, leaders, and global citizens in an environment shaped by strong learning in small groups and close relationships.

Admissions 2026-2027 are now open. Places are limited in our intentionally small groups.

Our approach

Early years

Our environment is designed for deep focus. By removing the rush, we allow children to master languages through immersion and sensory play.

Inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies, we treat the classroom as the “third teacher.” Children engage in Practical Life activities that build fine motor skills and independence, while social-emotional learning is woven into every interaction. Language acquisition happens organically—through song, storytelling, and daily conversation in German, English, and Arabic—building a foundation for cognitive flexibility that lasts a lifetime.

  • Trilingual immersion from age 1.
  • Emotional regulation as a core pillar.
  • Sensory-rich, child-led exploration.

Curriculum

Primary school (IPC)

Using the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), we foster academic knowledge and personal goals like resilience and international mindedness.

Learning in Primary is thematic and connected. Instead of studying subjects in isolation, students explore “Units of Learning” that link science, history, geography, and art under a single theme—such as “Active Planet” or “Living Together.” This approach encourages students to make connections between disciplines, fostering deep understanding and critical thinking. We balance academic rigor with a focus on personal development, ensuring children grow as confident learners and empathetic global citizens.

  • Cross-curricular science & history projects.
  • Development of “Global Thinker” competencies.
  • Research skills and collaborative work.

Future ready

Middle school (IMYC)

Through the IMYC, our students bridge the gap between local culture and global leadership, preparing for the future with research-driven skills.

Adolescence is a critical time for identity formation. The International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) is specifically designed to help adolescents make sense of how the world works and their place in it. By focusing on “Big Ideas,” students connect distinct subject areas to solve complex problems. We emphasize independent research, debate, and the articulation of ideas—skills that are essential not just for high school entrance exams, but for university life and future leadership roles.

Support

Questions

Do students need to be fluent in German?
Not necessarily. We provide support programs for varying levels of proficiency. Our immersive approach helps children pick up the language naturally through daily interaction and structured lessons.
How does the IPC curriculum benefit my child?
It focuses on thematic, inquiry-based learning that connects subjects like history and science while building a global mindset. It encourages students to see the bigger picture rather than just memorizing isolated facts.
Is there a focus on emotional learning?
Yes, absolutely. Emotional regulation and social intelligence are core pillars of our philosophy, especially in the Early Years and Primary sections, ensuring children are happy and ready to learn.
