Open House Learning
KOMPASS Kindergarten follows the concept of an interactive learn house. Children are not confined to a single room — they use all indoor and outdoor facilities throughout the day to spark natural curiosity.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and Finnish early education principles, our pedagogy treats every space as a potential classroom.
Nest Groups
Small, intimate groups of up to 8 children that meet every morning to greet each other, share stories, and co-plan the day’s journey together.
Competent Learners
We believe all children are naturally inquisitive. Our role is to observe, document, and gently scaffold — never to dictate.
Indoor-Outdoor Flow
The boundary between inside and outside dissolves. Children move freely between the atelier, construction zone, garden, mud kitchen, and quiet reading corners.
Spaces That Inspire
Every corner is intentionally designed to provoke wonder and invite exploration.

Trilingual Growth
German, English, and Arabic — woven naturally into daily life.
Holistic Placement
Placement considers the child’s emotional comfort, home language history, and individual developmental stage to find the best fit.
Linguistic Stamina
Daily language circles focus deeply on one language at a time. Children build fluency through songs and stories, not rote memorization.
Translanguaging
We celebrate code-switching as a sign of cognitive flexibility. Children naturally move between languages to express nuanced ideas.
A Day in the Life
Structure and freedom coexist. Rhythms anchor the day, but within each block, children choose their path.
Morning Arrival & Nest Circle
Children arrive and settle into their nest group. Morning circle includes greetings, songs, and collaborative day-planning.
Breakfast & Open Play
A healthy breakfast is served. Afterward, children flow freely between the atelier, construction area, reading corner, and garden.
Language Circle & Music
Focused language immersion through interactive songs, rhythm games, and storytelling.
Lunch & Garden Time
Lunch fosters table manners and conversation. Afterward, children enjoy outdoor free play with nature exploration.
Snack & Closing Circle
The day closes with a reflection circle. Children share what surprised them and what they’re curious about tomorrow.
